Well stand by your beds, clear your diaries and hold onto your hats – we have momentous news folks!!
After long and agonising consideration and many cups of coffee with biscuits (and even the odd gin!) we have decided it’s time for us to retire and hand Leven Crafts on to the next owners who will love it like we have over the past 11+ years. (Years which have passed in a flash it has to be said).
We are so incredibly lucky to have you as loyal and supportive customers and LC wouldn’t be what it is without you and our incredible staff for sure.
The potential for expanding and developing this successful business further is huge for the right person and we’d really love to find the next owner from amongst you lovely people. We can promise to give you all the information, help and support needed to take on the venture and fulfil your dream as we have.
So, if any of you have often thought (as we did all those years ago) wouldn’t it be nice to have this shop and you would be seriously interested in buying the business, then why not come and talk to us?
Until then folks we’re still here for you, it’s still very much business as usual for however long this process takes - WE ARE NOT CLOSING DOWN - and we’d love to see you in the shop or hear from you online for our more distant customers.

Our craft shop is situated in Chaloner Mews in the picturesque market town of Guisborough. We're easily accessed from Chaloner Street, with car parking nearby and we stock a wide range of needlecraft supplies. We have quilting fabrics and sewing threads, embroidery kits and crochet hooks, sewing notions and knitting needles and much more at Leven Crafts. Why not call in and see?
We add new fabrics, notions and up-to-date- products every month and pride ourselves on providing our much-loved customers a range of the latest needlecraft supplies and fresh ideas for sewing inspiration.
Our stock includes fabrics from, amongst others, Makower, Littondale and Lewis and Irene; our yarns are from Stylecraft, King Cole and Sirdar and our embroidery supplies from DMC, Anchor, Bothy Threads and Beth Studley. We also stock Mez Coats, and Gutermann sewing threads.
We are agents for Janome sewing machines and can show you display models, provide brochures and information across the range of models as well as personal experience of using many of them.

Needlecraft Workshops in Guisborough
We currently run patchwork and quliting workshops, a social crochet group and informal knit and natter and stitching groups in our Guisborough shop. No matter your level of skill or experience, we provide a comfortable, friendly environment in which you can learn new skills, meet new people and indulge in your needlecrafting hobbies.
